Mapua Alumni of San Diego volunteered to serve the less fortunate at the Saint Vincent de Paul Village on 5 May 2007. The Paul Mirabile facility could serve over 2000 meals a day.
Today, being "Cinco de Mayo", menu was: beef and bean burrito, spanish rice, and steamed corn. Servings are so big and this one surfer looking dude came back for a fourth! Hmm... maybe he was stuffing it into his backpack?

Tomorrow, for no special reason, they'll be serving adobo! Maybe I should wear these pants and get myself a free meal (LOL!)
If we had food this rich and good when we were at Mapua, we would not be This Skinny (LOL!)
